Though striker Teddie Lamb marked his PL2 debut in style by claiming a brace of goals it was Spurs who took the points.
Lamb extended his fine start to the season by both opening and rounding off the scoring on an eventful afternoon at Stevenage’s Sporta Arena.
However, a brace from Spurs’ Callum Olusesi alongside efforts from Miracle Adewola and Luca Williams-Barnett ultimately proved decisive for the hosts who took top spot in the table as a result.
