Watch the best moments as City Under-19s concluded our UEFA Youth League Group G campaign by twice battling back from behind to draw 2-2 away to Red Star Belgrade.

We entered the clash looking to maintain our unbeaten record in the competition so far and cement our place at the table’s summit.

Although the hosts knew they couldn’t qualify for the knockout phase, they showed their quality throughout and took the lead when Jovan Sljivic quite brilliantly dispatched a curling right foot shot  into the top corner.

In a hard-fought encounter in Serbia’s capital, City drew level on 37 minutes thanks to Ashton Muir’s stunning strike on his Youth League debut.

The scoreline didn’t remain level for long with an intricate passing move allowing Red Star to reestablish their lead on 41 minutes when Andrija Maksimovic fired home.

Brian Barry-Murphy’s side sought another equaliser following the interval and our endeavour though was finally rewarded when we drew level on 76 through Alfa-Ruprecht.

George Murray Jones then performed heroics late on to push a goalbound Markocevic header onto the post to ensure a fine encounter ended all square.
