Enjoy the best of the action as City produced a fine performance to see off Liverpool 3-0 in the Premier League U18s division.

This encounter saw third host second and, despite the delayed start due to the freezing conditions, Ben Wilkinson’s side warmed up those watching in person and online with a dynamic display and a thoroughly deserved three point haul.

Divine Mukasa opened the scoring for City with a cool finish after fine build-up work by the dynamic Alfie Harrison from the left.

Harrison charged down the flank before pulling it back to Mukasa, positioned centrally, to sidefoot home.

That gave the Blues an interval advantage but Wilkinson’s team didn’t rest on their laurels and there were more goals to come – and both by the brilliant Harrison.

They both came from his favoured left flank and the pair of perfect finishes were well-taken, giving Kornel Misciur little chance in the Reds goal.

There was no change in league placing after the ref blew his whistle. Importantly, though, City moved just two points behind the visitors but with two games in hand.
