Jahmai Simpson-Pusey says he is looking forward to representing City in the FA Youth Cup final, one of the most important competitions in Academy football.

City will welcome Leeds United to the Etihad Stadium for a 19:00 (UK) kick-off with Ben Wilkinson‘s Under-18s looking to lift the trophy for a fourth time in the Club’s history.

Fans can watch the match on the FA Player tonight and defender Simpson-Pusey is excited to play in one of the most important games in his development and progress towards senior football.

“I’m very excited to play against Leeds because it’s probably one of the biggest cups I’ll play in in youth football and the same goes for the rest of the team as well.

“I think my favourite moment in our journey to the final is definitely the Tottenham game because we were losing, Ben [Wilkinson] made those subs, Luca [Fletcher] came on and scored and then Jacob [Wright] the free-kick and it was relief off our chest.”

Simpson-Pusey also spoke about the experience he’s gained playing in Premier League 2 and how he’s looking to use that in the final against Leeds.
