Jaden Heskey admitted he was 'buzzing' in the wake of City’s 4-0 FA Youth Cup final triumph against Leeds United.

In front of what was a bumper crowd at the Etihad, Heskey struck City’s second goal with Justin Oboavwoduo, Stephen Mfuni and Matty Warhurst also on target in a dominant second half as we secured what was the Club’s fourth FA Youth Cup success.

The victory also came a year to the day since Heskey helped City win the Under-18 Premier League National title against West Ham – and he said it was an anniversary to remember.

“I’m buzzing – I can’t really describe it,” Heskey reflected.

“It’s a year ago to the day that we played here and beat West Ham in the Under-18 National final and it’s a similar feeling.

“It helped us prepare – it was another big occasion, and we were here this time in front of lots of fans including plenty from Leeds.

“It was even better this year I’d say.”
